BBG2x for sale:

Just come back from Seville training camp and I can tell you that most of the German squad women seem to be using BBG and not Empacher these days!

I have had a promotion at work and things have gone crazy – trying to do my old and new jobs at the same time – no opportunity to row and cannot see a point in time when I’ll be able to do this beautiful craft justice.

Make no mistake, this BBG2x was bought to win at WHR and it will win at WHR even if I am not sitting in it! It is stiff and straight and in factory condition – it has raced two regattas: Gent 2007 where the Lwt crew made the final of the Hwt 2x (and then didn’t race the final which was a criminally bad decision) and Metropolitan where it won Lwt 2x in 2007 – said crew should have gone on to win WHR that year but UTRC nonsense got in the way L

I would estimate that this boat has been in contact with water no more than 20 times – it lives indoors at HRC and has a rack with good space above and below so no scratches or blemishes on the hull – some dust I will admit to at present however!

The hull is poster paint blue rather than the standard BBG red – unique and fetching! Aluminium 3-stay riggers, Concept gates, New Wave shoes, NK Strokecoach fitting (not Speedcoach – who wants extra drag!?). If checking the BBG website, this is model OK-900: suitable for a 50kg to 65kg crew. List price is 9,230 EURO (current exchange rate £6,957.00) plus however long it takes to build a new order from scratch – I’ll sell this gorgeous boat ready to go for £5,500.00. This is an incredible deal and a very fast and beautiful boat for the money. I am gutted to be selling this boat but would dearly love to see it go to a good home and win at WHR.
